Terms & Conditions

By registering a domain name you agree to Rocket Design & Print and Nominet's terms and conditions.

For information or to report an issue, abuse or concerns with your domain name registration please email info@rocketdesignandprint.co.uk. We will aim to respond to your query within 3 to 5 working days.

Rocket Design & Print uses the 3rd party payment platform, Stripe, the Stripe API, and in conjunction, your Stripe account to process credit and debit card transactions.

By using Stripe you agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service - https://stripe.com/gb/legal

Rocket Design & Print shall not be liable for any payments and monetary transactions that occur through Your use of the Service. You expressly understand and agree that all payments and monetary transactions are handled by Stripe. Rocket Design & Print shall not be liable for any issues regarding financial and monetary transactions between You and any other party, including Stripe.

You are responsible for all transactions (one-time, recurring, and refunds) processed through the Service and/or Stripe. Rocket Design & Print is not liable for loss or damage from errant or invalid transactions processed with Your Stripe account. This includes transactions that were not processed due to a network communication error, or any other reason. If You process a transaction, it is Your responsibility to verify that the transaction was successfully processed.

Rocket Design & Print uses the Stripe API to run the Service and that the Stripe API is subject to change at any time and such changes may adversely affect the Service. Rocket Design & Print are not liable for any adverse affects that actions (whether intentional or unintentional) on the part of Stripe may cause to Your Stripe account, or Your business.

You must not process stolen credit cards, or unauthorized credit cards through Stripe.

Transaction Security

All transaction information passed between Rocket Design & Print and Stripe's systems is encrypted using 256-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted. No information passed to Stripe's servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

  1. Definitions:
    1. For the purpose of these Terms & Conditions set forth hereunder is defined to mean, unless the context requires otherwise, as follows.
    2. "RDP, we, us, our" shall mean "Rocket Design & Print".
    3. "Client, customer, you, your" shall mean the customer named.
    4. "Confidential Information" hereunder includes all information which is considered proprietary to RDP, you or its customers, as the case may be, including but not limited to information or materials related to the business affairs of the respective party, customer information, designs and documentation of systems and software, and the Services and Deliverables developed as part of this Agreement.
    5. "Pricing" shall mean the fees paid by you the Client to RDP as set forth on RDP website, written quotation and/or the Project Brief.
    6. "Services" shall mean all work performed by RDP for the Client on each Project.
  2. Web Site Location:
    1. All accounts will be located on Linux or Windows Cluster servers unless otherwise specified. All prices quoted are for these option and are subject to change.
  3. Webspace:
    1. Space on RDP servers may not be resold or used for the distribution of adult-oriented or racist material, pirate software, copyright material or for other illegal purposes. Contract (and service) may be suspended at any time if usage or site content is deemed inappropriate or offensive.
  4. Mail Usage:
    1. Your e-mail accounts may not be resold or used to send unsolicited e-mail (spamming). Clients who send, or allow the sending of such mail (even using external mail facilities) will have their service terminated immediately and will be liable for any costs incurred by the result of their actions.
  5. Site Content:
    1. Under no circumstances, must any of the following materials appear on your website. Pornographic/explicit or obscene material, in the form of graphics or text. Copyrighted music files or any form of sound used without the original owner's written consent. Copyright computer code/graphics without the original owner's written consent. Lists of software package serial numbers or links to cracks, patches, hacks or pirated software. Pyramid advertising schemes and "Spam" banners.
    2. In order to maintain quality of service to all our clients, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account where it is found to be manipulating or monopolizing server resources to the detriment of other users, whether via scripts, programs, volume of mail, excess bandwidth or otherwise. It is strongly suggested that any script development is carried out on your local PC before uploading to the server, as incorrectly configured scripts may seriously affect server performance.
  6. Confidentiality:
    1. RDP shall, cause each of the Representatives working on the projects, to keep all Confidential Information of you or your client, not to disclose it to any third party without the prior written consent of the Client or the Clients customers, and not to use it for any purpose other than that for which it was provided to RDP.
    2. RDP shall only disclose Confidential Information to those Representatives who need to know the same for legitimate business purposes.
  7. Errors & Omissions:
    1. Although we always endeavour to keep your sites error-free and check them regularly for availability, you are advised that it is your responsibility to back up your files, check your website for availability, correct content and operation. Errors and omissions should be reported via e-mail as soon as possible for correction.
  8. Design & Ownership of Services:
    1. Sites designed by RDP are designed individually for clients, we retain copyright on all original design work, copywriting and images we provide. Use of copyright work on other websites or publications is not permitted without express written consent or license arrangement. The Client also agrees that RDP shall retain Proprietary Rights with respect to any Services or Deliverables provided to you by RDP.
  9. Domain Names:
    1. We will not be able to confirm that we are able to register your chosen domain name for you until we have received notification from the appropriate domain registry that the application was successful. All domain names will remain the property of RDP until full payment for that domain name has been received.
    2. We will not accept responsibility for errors made by Registration Authorities, registrars or their agents when submitting domains for registration. Claims against RDP for incorrect registration on our part will be limited to replacement domains to the same retail value, at our discretion. No claims for compensation will be accepted for loss of use due to late payment.
    3. You will be responsible for picking a domain name that does not infringe any copyrights or trademarks. If you do infringe trademark or copyright, you risk having legal action taken against you and losing the domain name to the owner. Your registration fees and RDP hosting charge will not be returnable in this case. If you choose a .ltd.uk or .plc.uk name, it is required to be the same as your registered company name (with spaces removed or replaced with hyphens as appropriate). Please be aware that recent domain extensions may have their own rules on acceptability, eligibility, trademark infringement.
    4. Should you wish to transfer your .uk domain name to another provider this will be completed free of charge, however, we reserve the right not to release domain names whose owners' account fees remain unpaid until all invoices are settled in full.
  10. Loss of Service:
    1. RDP web space, domain registration and e-mail services are derived in some part via partnerships with third-party companies. No responsibility will be accepted for loss of service or consequences of such caused by server failure or actions of any of our partners, service providers, or their subcontractors, representatives or employees. This includes loss of data resulting from failures, delays, nondeliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions. No SLA or uptime guarantees are given, although every effort will be made to maintain service. No warranties or claims of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are made - either expressed or implied for services provided.
  11. Late Payment:
    1. In the event of late payment, your service may be discontinued or suspended until full payment is made. No responsibility will be accepted for loss of service or consequences of such action. Services ordered online are accepted on a "firm order" basis and fees, when requested via invoice, are payable strictly within 14 days from invoice date. We reserve the right not to release domain names whose owners' account fees remain unpaid until all invoices are settled in full. Domains remaining unpaid for may become lapsed or detagged.
  12. Cancellation:
    1. We require 14 days cancellation notice in writing. When you cancel your account, all your files and access passwords will be deleted. We reserve the right to terminate an account at any time without notice.
  13. Force Majeure:
    1. Neither party shall be liable to the other party for any failure to perform or delay in performance of any of its obligations or duties or the terms of the provision of this Agreement, if any, to the extend such failure or delay is caused by or are attributable to any event of force majeure, to the extend the event is not within the control of that party whose performance under this Agreement is effected thereby.
  14. Price Variations, Charges & Services:
    1. Payment for all invoiced services will be due within 14 days of receipt of invoice and all orders are strictly on prepayment basis unless otherwise agreed. No refund will be given for annual hosting fees if you choose to relocate your domain, although prompt transfer to a new host will be arranged free of charge. RDP reserve the right to increase or decrease charges and/or introduce new charges and/or add or remove or change the services provided by RDP to you from time to time. In the event of any such changes, 14 days prior notice will be given to you in writing by RDP.

"Confidential Information" hereunder includes all information which is considered proprietary to RDP, you or its customers, as the case may be, including but not limited to information or materials related to the business affairs of the respective party, customer information, designs and documentation of systems and software, and the Services and Deliverables developed as part of this Agreement.
    5. "Pricing" shall mean the fees paid by you the Client to RDP as set forth on RDP website, written quotation and/or the Project Brief.
    6. "Services" shall mean all work performed by RDP for the Client on each Project.
  2. Passing Of Title & Risk;
    1. The risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery.
    2. All goods delivered or not, remain our property until payment is received in full.
    3. Until such time as payment is made you shall retain such goods separately from other goods and clearly mark them in such a way that they can be readily identified as being our property and any payment received by you for any sale of such goods must be held in a separate account in trust for us. In the event of non-payment for such goods we will, without loss of any rights or remedy, remove from your possession those goods belonging to us in accordance with these conditions and we shall be entitled to enter upon the property where the goods are stored to repossess and remove the same. You hereby grant us an irrevocable licence to enter your premises for the said purposes.
  3. Products & Print Services:
    1. We reserve the right to alter any details of products advertised without notice and while every effort is made to describe goods accurately in the advertisement no warranty is given as to accuracy and no responsibility will be accepted for error or mis-scription and any resulting loss.
  4. Quotations & Contracts:
    1. Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today¹s current costs of production and in the event of any increase in wages or costs of materials to us occurring after the confirmation of accepted contract; we shall be entitled to charge such increases to you.
    2. Quotations are only valid for 30 days after the initial quote date.
    3. Any price or quotations is subject to change at any point without notice, including advertised offers.
  5. Delivery:
    1. Every effort will be made to deliver on time, but any delivery day specified is a best estimate and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods. All deliveries will be charged at the prevailing rates applying at the date of such delivery.
    2. RDP accepts no responsibility for deliveries being missed if payment is required before delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that full payment is made before delivery can take place.
    3. Please check your order upon delivery, if your order arrives damaged please refuse the delivery and contact RDP (01603 555446) as soon as possible. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the order for damage before signing as RDP are unable to refund for damaged orders that have been signed for.
  6. Claims:
    1. Claims arising from damages, delay or partial loss in transit must be made via email to info@rocketdesignandprint.co.uk as soon as possible.
    2. All claims with regard to the quality or quantity of the goods shall be made via email within 2 working days of receipt of goods or such goods shall be deemed to comply as to quality and quantity within the terms of the contract.
    3. You must examine all goods delivered at the time of delivery. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from damage caused to the goods in transit unless loss or damage is noted on the delivery note at time of delivery.
    4. RDP requires any printing to be returned in full before agreeing to reprint. If RDP deem the printing to be of sufficient quality, and within tolerance we reserve the right to return the goods and refuse a reprint or refund.
  7. Liability:
    1. Save in so far as defects in the goods cause death injury or damage to personal property, our liability for any loss or damage suffered by you in respect of the goods shall be limited to the contract value of the goods.
    2. We can accept no responsibility for loss or damage arising from the supply of goods under this contract unless you have fully complied with the notification of claims procedure set out in clause 10.
    3. We are not liable for any financial loss incurred by you, including but not limited to expenses incurred by you, interest payments and loss of earnings or similar gains you would have received on monies paid to us in lieu of any unfulfilled order.
    4. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the rights of a consumer.
  8. Refunds:
    1. We Reserve the right to rectify defective work by reprinting and shall not be liable to refund.
    2. RDP will credit your account if we deem a refund should be made.
    3. If we offer to replace you must accept such an offer unless you can show clear cause for refusing to do so.
    4. If you do opt to have work re-done by a third party without reference to us you automatically revoke your right to any remedy from us.
    5. All defective work must be returned to us before replacement, if the subject work is not available we will assume that it has been accepted and no replacement will be provided.
    6. Any costs incurred for work already carried out up to the date of written cancellation will also be charged for and deducted before any refunds are made. If the order has not yet been paid for then an invoice will be raised for the amount concerned and sent to the responsible party.
  9. Samples:
    1. Unfortunately we do not provide paper samples and artwork designs proofs will be emailed.
  10. Artwork & Printing:
    1. All artwork is printed using CMYK unless otherwise requested by the customer. Such a request will incur an additional fee.
    2. We only quote for one design per kind, any additional are chargeable.
    3. We will not print artwork that been designed by RDP until this has been approved by the customer.
  11. Artwork Design Proofs:
    1. Please note that the colour of the printed item will be affected by the type of material chosen for the artwork to be printed on, as well as any applied Lamination or Varnish.
    2. Please read thoroughly as all proofs, once passed, are deemed correct and ready to go to print, and the responsibility passes to the customer. You will need to view all PDF proofs at 100% to see the exact size of your product when printed. We will not be held responsible for any mistakes, viewing, spelling, punctuation, contact details or layout. We will not commence print until we have received a copy of the final proof with a written confirmation to go to print by email.
